Associate Attorney Kristin L. Bergesen

Kristin Bergesen joined Choyce & Crowell, LLP after attending law school at American University in Washington DC. As an attorney for the firm, Kristin represents clients in criminal, traffic, and personal injury matters. She is highly committed to achieving successful results for clients and representing each individual to the fullest of her ability. Her most notable achievements with Choyce & Crowell to date include successful negotiations with District Attorneys, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and the opposing parties in personal injury matters.

Prior to attending law school, Kristin completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at University of California Los Angeles, with a minor in Policy Studies. She went on to earn her JD from American University, Washington College of Law, where she developed a passion for criminal law through her work with the Maryland States Attorneys' Office and the Criminal Justice Clinic. She also served as a member and editor of the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy, and the Law, a highly regarded publication known for its commitment to educating attorneys on some of the most pressing current social issues. After graduation, Kristin took and passed both the Maryland and California Bars within a year of graduation.

In her spare time, Kristin enjoys running, reading, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. As a California native, Kristin is thrilled to be back in California and representing clients as an attorney with Choyce & Crowell.
